Watch Korean TV online! Arirang TV or Arirang Korea News doesn’t have to be the only Korean TV channel in Korea that you watch. Well, the only English channel on Korean cable that you watch. Just download the TVU player (don’t worry it is super fast).
This is a program I’ve used for years here in Korea to bypass having to watch Diehard 2 once a week on OCN for over 2 years on Korean TV. This free streaming TV service allows you to watch free TV programs from all over the world and did I mention it was free TV. Korean TV will still cost you around 30,000 won a month. If you are worried about spyware, well don’t be I’ve used it and never had any issues. It’s safe so don’t worry about those viruses that you get when trying to download TV shows with BIT Torrent files. It is amazing but you really don’t even need a TV anymore with free streaming TV other TV channels for free online like Discovery channel and National Geographic, which is great and usually streams down with no problems.
TV Ants which is a Chinese P2P program developed by Zhejiang University that allows you to watch streaming TV channels that users are streaming. This has been much better than downloading TV shows while in Korea with torrents as they can be full of viruses. Here you get everything streaming. After you download TVAnts (no spy ware to worry about from my experience) you can watch MBC, SBS, SBS and lots of English channels too like Discovery Channel. I used this to watch all of the 2008 Olympics on NBC, golf and other great sporting events. It is awesome! Anyways download TV Ants and enjoy!
