“It’s Hyorish” Lee Hyo-ri’s new album seems to be pulling a Madonna if you ask me. This Hyo Ri album has suggestive photos and sex-charged lyrics in new album that reminds us of another certain Pop icon coming out with a book entitled “Sex” that had her posing all hot, sexy and nude. Well in Korea nude photos still are those of scandal and not pop media, but her skimpy outfits and poses are certainly Hyorish, which apparently is a new word that describes all things Hyori.
Her agency or should we say pimps (ouch, uncalled for?) said, “We tried to portray Hyo Ri’s characteristics through the word `Hyorish.” There are celebrities who are sexy and who are friendly and outgoing, but there are not many stars that can show these characteristics simultaneously. At 30, Hyo Ri is being hailed as a sexy icon and as many newspapers have reported she has an ability to make Koreans allured and offended. If that isn’t the definition of Madonna then what is.
