The battle of Wonder Girls vs Girls’ Generation in sexy short skirts (초미니 스커트 chomini seo-kuh-tuh). It is amazing how short the skirts and hot pants these K-pop girls (who are/were teenagers not that long ago) are getting. It’s not likely them picking them out either, but the stylists and sex selling producers and entertainment companies. Yes, that is JYP, SM Ent. and other Korean companies that exploit every last inch of leg that they can. Sure you need catchy beats and those darn addicting repetitive song lyrics, but hey, dress them up in as little as you can get away with seems to help sales too with not only male, but female fans which is interesting. This also leads to the fashion trends of Korea having hem-lines going up and up. I realize this isn’t limited to Korea, but the prevalence of it is just incredible it seems here.

i mean, yeah those are pretty short but its not obscene or anything. now if they were prancing around onstage with prominent camel toes i would have something to say about Korean society… (yes i’m refering to us Americans lol)
Those white shorts aren’t short. Thats a pretty normal length. The skirts aren’t very short either. You could argue about the dresses, but most young women now wear boyshorts just short shorts under a crotch skimming dress. You can stare up the skirt as long as you want and you’ll see less than on the beach, so what’s the big deal?
You want racy fashion, then try a bum skimming lace-trimmed flouncy skirt over a pair of t-backs. At least that makes escalators interesting for a change.
