South Korea Culture: Sign Crazy
If somebody puts up a sign then sure enough another will follow as why would you not conform to the masses. It’s the way it is done in Korea. Gawdy signs and even nicer looking ones, but they are just everywhere. Sure this is just business and trying to get your business noticed is what you have to do to survive, but this just makes for a very ugly building and bombards pedestrians with too much garbage. What a bloody eyesore!
This is just a classic bureaucratic mess up in Korea or some jackass who’s boss gave some order that wasn’t so clear, but rather than admit they didn’t understand they went ahead and put another sign up next to the one they put up last year ㅋㅋㅋ
