Korea Ghost airports should be a new tour offered just to get traffic up in these lovely, yet super under utilized Korean airports. Once again, political motivations rather than good sense has led to this shiny examples of stupid government spending. Have you been to one? Tell us about it.
Yangyang International Airport located in Yangyang County in Gangwon-do is the only international airport in Youngdong region and thank goodness as this beautiful folly is dead with seeing it’s last flight served on November 1st, 2008. I say turn it into one of those fancy English Villages that cost about the same and are just as effective.
