Free hugs in Korea is a story I’m sure sure you all have heard about or even seen if you every frequent the Myeong-Dong area or Kangnam station area where the sheer foot traffic allows for these free Korean hug givers to get some takers. However, now it is pretty much all over Korea and the world which is really kind of neat and special in world we often see as callous and cold. However, you new it wouldn’t take long for commercialism to pop up and spoil a positive social movement with their take on it and of course if it’s marketing they have to take it up a notch. Here’s an undwear company in Korea that got some models to offer “Free Kisses” on the streets of Myeong-Dong. What do you think? Harmless corporate promotion or just a sicken stunt and ripoff of something started for a genuinely good cause.
