Not sure if all Korean actresses have plastic surgery, but when you see all the examples you begin to wonder. It’s not just the girls in movies and singing the latest K-pop song that get it done either. It’s so common to see girls (and even guys) walking around with their surgical masks on and bandages, especially coming in and out of the actual plastic surgery clinics.
After the results I’m guessing most girls thing the pain, long recovery time and serious outlay of cash for these procedures is totally worth it. It is sad though that they feel the pressure to look like those stars in the magazines. The real crazy thing is that those impossible images you see of celebs have been so touched up and redone that they aren’t even real anymore so of course you can’t look like them, because they don’t even look like that! Below we see some amazing results of a lot of work that includes a boob job or two from a 성형외관 or plastic surgery clinic.
The proof is all around in Korea that plastic surgery is a booming industry and it’s fueled not just by the domestic customers either, but many Chinese from the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan flock to Apgujeong and Kangnam so they too can look like their favorite Korean celebrities.

Anyhow, I admire their growing industry especially in films and music. Hope to see more of these people’s talents!
