Santacon in Seoul is not a joke, nor is it a one city event. This Saturday, December 12 you’ll hear reports of mass Santa gatherings all over the world. Just check out the SantaCon site for the history and Santa Claus party guidelines. Santa is coming to Seoul.
A simple goal of spreading Christmas cheer and likely consuming as many beverages as one can through your fake beard. It’s not just Kris Kringle that is welcome either so if you have a reindeer, elf, x-mas tree or snowman costume then get it on and get out there.
Where? Where else would a massive party take place in Seoul — Head over to Hongdae (Line 2) for 3PM and look for the Santas and if you don’t see them right away then you are too early or they are all filling up on egg nog (or soju and those little tiny yogurts)
